Chapter Eight

The truth of it was Andi would never have done something so outrageous if it wasn’t for Simon’s impulsive influence. He—and each of the guys—brought out a side of her that didn’t exist without them. They enhanced her experiences, and made her a more well-rounded person.

She wondered what she gave them in return.

Simon peered down at her, rain dripping from his nose as he paused to study her soaking features. Grinning up at him like a fool, she hoped he liked what he saw.

He pressed her arms above her head and held her wrists in one of his broad hands. With her immobile, he began to feast on her. He started with her eyelids, kissing each, before moving on to the tip of her nose.

Spending an inordinate amount of time on her lips and tongue, he nearly caused her to lose track of where they were. All she could feel was him and what he did to her.

When his free hand covered her breast, the diamond-hard tip threatened to dent his palm.

“Too cold?” he asked.

“Not anymore.” She smiled up at him when he adjusted his position above her to blanket as much of her exposed skin as possible.

Andi expected to see steam rising off his sculpted ass like it had those boulders a few minutes ago. She couldn’t help but ogle his ripped frame. Heat poured off him, keeping her toasty as he continued to lap rainwater from her skin.

When the ground began to turn to mud, he said, “You don’t belong in the dirt, babe.”

Releasing her wrists, he put his hands on her waist. Before she could ask what he meant, he’d rolled, pulling her over him with her knees straddling his narrow hips.

Suddenly, it was her turn to investigate the wonders of his body. The entire time she allowed her fingers to tease and prod his firm muscles, roaming the landscape of his build, the rest of her picked up on the subtle shift of his pelvis that accompanied the flexing of his ass and thighs in response to her handiwork.

Soon she was grinding against him, sliding along the length of his bare cock. Thicker than Cooper, he might have been a little shorter, but nothing she could complain about in that department.

Damn. If he felt half as good inside her, she was likely to fly right off this mountain when she came. There was no doubt now that she would. They’d gone too far to turn back before taking each other over the edge.

“Andi, hang on,” he grunted loud enough for her to hear over the white noise made by the rain spattering around them and the periodic base of the thunder. His hand flailed on the grass beside them, searching…

She spotted the foil packet a few inches from his fingers and plucked it from the tangle of wildflowers it had fallen in. Ripping it open with her teeth, she allowed herself to embrace her feral side, and the naturalness of the act they were about to share.
